Diane has been great getting my books all cleaned up and properly set up. She’s very responsive, detailed, and thorough. Thanks for all your help! Highly recommend!
How to reach me
Call me and we can get started right then on the phone. If now’s not a good time, send the form and I’ll call you back myself.
Email: diane@dianesbookeeping.com
Hours: By appointment
Based in: Ash Grove, Missouri. I work with clients anywhere in the United States over Zoom and phone, and in person around Springfield when that’s easier.
When we do work together, I ask for read-only access to every bank and credit card account and accountant access to your bookkeeping file. That way I can see the statements, but the money stays in your hands.
What happens after you send this
- You’ll hear from me directly. I’ll call you back within 15 to 20 minutes during the day.
- We take a free look at your file. Thirty minutes on Zoom or the phone, or in person around Springfield. Send me three to six months of recent bank and credit card statements first. I tell you plainly what shape it’s in and give you a price range on that call, and I’ll say so if I’m not the right fit.
- We go through the proposal together. On Zoom, or in person if you’re close by. I’d rather look at the number with you than read it to you over the phone. After that I’ll email it to you, and you just reply to approve the price.
- You get the price in writing before I touch anything. A fixed project quote for a cleanup, a flat monthly fee for monthly work, $85 an hour for consulting. You can take it to your CPA or sit with it for a while, and it’s fine to say no.
Your information stays with me.
From a Google review
Accurate, detailed and personable; three of many qualities that Diane brings to the table every single day. There is no one I would trust more than Diane with my bookkeeping.
Questions I hear a lot
Where do we meet?
What should I send you before we talk?
Can you give me a ballpark cost?
Want to set up the free call?
The free call page has everything for a free 30-minute call, on Zoom or the phone. Pick a time that works and I’ll confirm it. Wondering about cost first? The pricing page walks through how I quote: a flat monthly fee or a fixed project price, in writing, after a free look at your file.
Rather talk than type?
You can tell me what’s going on with your books in your own words, and we’ll start sorting it out right there on the phone. The form above reaches me just the same if that’s easier.
A Form 990 on extension is due November 16, 2026. Your CPA needs reconciled, fund-level books to finish it, and that’s the part I do.
Filed an extension for 2025? Those returns are due October 15, 2026. Your CPA needs a reconciled 2025 file before then, and the sooner I see it the more room we both have.
1099s for your subs and vendors are due February 1, 2027, and they’re built from a full year of entered payments. If 2026 is behind, the last weeks of the year are the time to catch it up.
1099s for your subs and vendors are due February 1, 2027, the same day your payroll provider sends W-2s. If the 2026 books aren’t entered yet, that’s the first thing I’d fix.
S corporation and partnership returns are due March 15, 2027. Your CPA needs a reconciled 2026 file to file on time.
Individual returns are due April 15, 2027. A reconciled 2026 file is what your CPA needs to file, or to file the extension with real numbers.
I’ll call you back within 15 to 20 minutes during the day.
